Finally

After a week of waking up at least twice a night, Nora finally slept all night last night. I have no idea why. We kept her on the same schedule all week but for some reason she slept from 8:30 pm-6:00 am. We moved her bed to the guest room and will need to move the guest bed into the office and the office somewhere. At least she'll have her own room and will be able to scream her little butt off without waking up Emma. I hope the bad stretch is gone for at least a few weeks. Give us all some well needed sleep. Phew.

Sophie's Story by Elaine said...

Thanks for the words of advice. The swaddling worked great last night. It must have felt wonderful to have Nora sleep through the night. Between Sophie and my 4 month old, I forgot what it is like to sleep through the night. Amazingly, I have adjusted quite well.

This is my first time to Nora's blog page...she is absolutely adorable. Yeah on the signing...after Sophie learned her first sign it really picked up. She was learning at least one or two new signs a week. ABA therapy helped a lot with this. Sophie gets ABA therapy through Early Intervention even though she does not have autism.

Nora reminds me a lot of Sophie. Sophie is 2 years 8 months. Sophie's speech started before starting ACTH while we were weaning Depakote. It was amazing at how much more alive she became during the wean. I had no idea that Depakote was holding her back so much.
